Ken Boundy
Chairman
Ken Boundy is a seasoned global businessman who has successfully operated as an executive manager and as a non executive director, over a diverse range of industry sectors and company life cycles. He is currently a part owner of three businesses; strategic advisor, coach and consultant to selected clients; and non-executive director on several boards.
Ken has been Chairman of Acelero since 2006. He brings to that role wide experience as a leader of people for over 30 years in both the public and private sectors. In CEO roles at the Australian Tourist Commission and Goodman Fielder Asia, Ken led organisational transformations and a focus on performance. He has commented that he would have valued access to the Acelero human capital management solutions to support these challenges, at the time. He is a passionate believer in the scope for Australian companies to increasingly adopt online solutions for advancing human performance.
Currently, Ken is also Chairman of Regnan Governance Research and Engagement Limited, and a Non Executive Director at Dexion Limited, and Horticulture Australia Limited (HAL). He chairs the HR Committee at HAL, and the Remuneration Committee at Dexion. He is a member of the Australian Advisory Boards of LEK Consulting, and the International College of Management, Sydney, and is also a Governor of WWF Australia.
Ken has Bachelors and a Masters Degree in Agricultural Science from Melbourne University , and a Master of Business Administration from Deakin University. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and of the Australian Institute of Management. He is a thought leader in organisational behaviour, sustainable tourism and strategic marketing, and led one of the sub streams at the Prime Minister’s 2020 Summit in April 2008. -
Tony Sernack
Director
Tony Sernack founded the MACAW Consulting Group in 1993 and is its managing director. MACAW works with public and private sector organisations on corporate and market strategy development and execution.
Prior to MACAW, Tony held senior management/CEO positions in the Australasian Liquor Industry and has extensive experience across all sectors (spirits, wine and beer). He ran marketing for Penfolds Wine Group (now part of Fosters) before going to the brewing sector in 1988 as marketing director for Tooheys, Castlemaine and Swan. He later moved to New Zealand as CEO of the DB Group (Dominion Breweries) and its extensive liquor interests in wine, spirits and retail.
In those years Tony was responsible for a number of notable marketing successes including the resurgence of Penfolds red wine range and the launches of West Coast Cooler and Toohey’s Dry.
He also has served on a number of boards as director/chair. Previous directorships have included engineering, biotech and beverage distribution companies, with direct international business exposure and takeover management.
